Clarabelle is the most versatile dairy cow we have. Milk her for yourself or use her as a nurse cow. Approximately 8 years old and perfect for a beginning milker. Trained to a stanchion and milk machine, but could be hand milked as well. Good in all 4 quarters. She’s laid back and easy to work with. With twice/day milking, we have gotten 6 gallons daily. She can also be milked once/day. Clarabelle’s milk is slightly higher in fat globules which is ideal for the cheesemaker.
Clarabelle is currently IN MILK, but we will be drying her up in September. Exposed to a devon bull and a mini-zebu bull.
